Creamy lemon Chardonnay chicken

2-3 lbs chicken
Garlic powder to taste
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Lemon zest
1/4 cup butter (salted)
1/4 cup Chardonnay wine
2 Tbs lemon juice
Dash salt
1 1/3 cups almond milk
Olive oil
4 Tbs thinly sliced basil 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Heat olive oil in pan over medium heat
Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder, lemon zest, salt and pepper and add to pan
Sear on both sides and finish off in a 350 degree oven for 7 minutes
While chicken is cooking melt butter in a sauce pan
Add wine and simmer 1 minute 
Stir in lemon juice and salt
Add almond milk and simmer 10-12 minutes
Meanwhile, thinly slice basil for a garnish
Serve chicken with sauce and basil garnish
