Spicy burgers with sweet potato fries and homemade ketchup

This recipe is spicy and onion-y and I hope you enjoy. For the seasoning, I sprinkled as much as I think I will like of the spices on the burgers and fries.

Homemade ketchup

1-6 oz can tomato paste
1/2 cup vegetable broth
2 Tbs apple cider vinegar
1/2 Tbs garlic powder
1/2 Tbs onion powder
1/2 Tbs honey
Chili powder to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes to taste

Heat saucepan on medium heat
Add tomato paste, vinegar and broth and mix well
Add seasonings and honey and mix well
Heat another 5 minutes or so then cool and serve with burger and fries

Sweet potatoes fries

1 or 2 sweet potatoes
Taco seasoning
Coconut oil spray

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Cut sweet potatoes into fries
Arrange fries in single layer on baking sheet
Spray fries with coconut oil
Sprinkle with taco seasoning
Bake for 10 minutes in 425 degree oven
Stir and turn over fries, spray with more coconut oil and sprinkle with more taco seasoning
Bake for 12 more minutes and until golden and delicious

Spicy burgers

1.5 lbs beef
1 onion chopped small
Cayenne pepper
Crushed red pepper
Garlic salt
Onion powder
Salt and pepper

Chop the onion into small pieces
Put meat in a bowl with onions and sprinkle with all the spices except tapatio to your liking
Mix well and form into patties
Sprinkle patties with tapatio to your liking and rub on both sides of patty
BBQ about 6 minutes a side until 150 degrees then let rest for about 10 minutes
